Accounting Specialist


The Cook Islands Investment Corporation (CIIC) is looking for an experienced, energetic and suitably qualified individual to fill the position of an ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST.

The Accounting Specialist will report directly to the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting and/ or Business related subjects;
  • Working experience in a senior accounting role or in a public sector or corporate environment;
  • Extensive experience with both financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting;
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English (with Cook Island Maori looked upon very favourably);
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills to successfully resolve any complicated financial matters;
  • An understanding of the Cook Islands Government policies and procedures;
  • A professional and positive attitude to work.
