Public Parks & Sports Facilities

The Cook Islands Investment Corporation (CIIC) manages and maintains a range of government-owned assets and public facilities across the Cook Islands, including public buildings, parks and shared community spaces.

Our Public Parks and Facilities team ensures these areas are well cared for, safe, and accessible, so everyone can enjoy them. We oversee the upkeep, cleanliness, and day-to-day management of these spaces, supporting both community life and recreational activities.

We are responsible for:

  • Te Ta’ua Emo’anga Nui – National Stadium
  • National Sports Arena
  • Nikao Social Centre
  • Nikao Cemetery (opposite the Airport)
  • Avarua CBD Public Toilet (opposite Police HQ)
  • Avarua Wharf Public Toilet (next to Trader Jacks)
  • Panama Park (including Are Tapaeanga and Public Toilet)
  • Avana Public Toilet

These facilities are maintained to provide safe, welcoming spaces for sport, recreation and everyday use by the community and visitors alike.
