The CIIC through the Cook Islands Investment Corporation Act 1998, is responsible for the management of the Government’s housing portfolio.

The Government housing portfolio provides housing for:

• Members of Parliament representing Pa Enua constituencies
• Assistance to low-income households
• People from the Pa Enua with little to no access to land ownership on Rarotonga
• Specialist public sector employees from outside Rarotonga

Prospective tenants are required to complete an application form. All applicants will go through a screening process to confirm eligibility. Eligible applicants will be placed on the waiting list until a house becomes available.
