Mr Malcolm Sword has been a director of the Cook Islands Investment Corporation since 2010, lives in Rangiura, Rarotonga, and has family ties to Atiu and Rarotonga. Mr Sword has extensive public and private sector experience including as the Managing Director since 1986 of Cook Islands General Transport, Cook Islands respected, market leader and provider of domestic and international freight, shipping and forwarding services, a family owned company operating since 1960. An important feature of the Cook Islands General Transport business is its services to the Pa Enua / outer islands. Mr Sword has held various and been a passionate representative on various public and industry bodies, and been an active contributor to various sporting, recreational and community projects and initiatives, on Rarotonga and across the nation.
