CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTERESTS FOR GOVERNANCE AND
DIRECTORSHIP ROLES ACROSS THE COOK ISLANDS INVESTMENT
CORPORATION, ITS STATE OWNED ENTITIES AND CROWN CORPORATE
ENTITIES

The Cook Islands Investment Corporation is calling for expressions of interests for persons interested in serving on any of its Boards across its Group, including its State Owned Enterprises and Crown Corporate Entities (including the Cook Islands Investment
Corporation, the Airport Authority, Avaroa Cable, Bank of the Cook Islands, CIIC Seabed
Resources, Ports Authority, Te Aponga Uira, Te Mana Uira o Araura and To Tatou Vai).

The Cook Islands Investment Corporation is calling on people wanting to contribute to its
vision of “effective and efficient public assets that improve the wellbeing of Cook Islands
people”, who believe they have the right skill set and experience to contribute around the
Board table or are willing to be developed, to express their interest.

Mr Michael Henry, Chairman of the Cook Islands Investment Corporation is pleased to
announce the formal expression of interest programme to expand the pool of directors when the Cook Islands Investment Board considers future Board appointments. Mr Henry said “we have a very good pool of Directors at present across our Group, managing a significant asset base for the Cook Islands people. The purpose of this process is to reach out to the public and encourage people who are interested in governance roles to formally submit your interest, so that when governance and directorship opportunities arise, they may be considered for those appointments.” Mr Henry added that “the Cook Islands Investment Corporation has invested significantly into best practice corporate governance practices over the last few years, including corporate governance training in partnership with the New Zealand Institute of Directors, the refreshing of policies, updating of legislation and ensuring Directors are equipped appropriately to do their roles effectively.” Mr Henry is also inviting any interested persons to attend an online Zoom information session in June, where people can learn more about the Cook Island Investment Corporation Group and what the Director roles entail.

To formally express your interest in governance roles there is online form people are
invited to complete via its website www.ciiconline.com or via the online portal
https://forms.gle/J33GbYhXDVRSCr7WA. To express an interest in attending the online
information session, please contact Ruanoo Mose-Kavana on +682 29 391 or email
