CIIC proud to once again be a sponsor of Tereora College Prizegiving

The Cook Islands Investment Corporation (CIIC) is extremely proud to have been able to sponsor three important academic awards presented at this year’s Tereora College prizegiving ceremony this week.

Congratulations to Sarah Napa, Teremoana Tere and Mara Adamu.

Sarah took out the inaugural Excellence in Level 3 Design and Visual Communication, is 18 years old and Tereora College Head Girl for 2022.

Teremoana is this year’s winner of the Excellence in Level 2 Design and Visual Communication, is 16 years old, and hails from Manihiki. 

Mara is this year’s winner of the Special Award for Most Outstanding in Level 3 Building and Mathematics. He is 18 years old and hails from Manihiki.

Aumai Teiotu and Tua Williams, both school leavers last year and interns at CIIC presented the awards.

This is the second year CIIC has sponsored academic awards for the Tereora College prizegiving. “It’s becoming a tradition we are proud of” said CEO Allan Jensen on behalf of CIIC. “Most of our staff are ex-Tereora College students; it makes sense to nurture local talent for the work we do and to promote opportunities at home.”
